Forest City Coffee is looking for a Coffee Sales Manager to support sales growth with innovative beverage equipment solutions by providing excellence in service and quality.  As the leader for the department, you will manage the day to day sales and delivery practices through collaboration and team management.   

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Supervision of 5-7 Coffee Route Sales, Bottled Water Sales and new account Coffee Sales team members
  • Management of employee performance, including periodic reviews, disciplinary actions, ride alongs and scheduling.
  • Responsible for departmental budget expenditures and revenue growth, which includes the acquisition of new customer accounts
  • Plan, distribute, and monitor daily route and sales targets to ensure customers are serviced in accordance with the consumer agreement
  • Monitor productivity and safety targets for each driver and sales team member
  • Responsible for the recruitment, hiring and training of all team members
  • Management of daily route efficiencies to ensure completion as assigned
  • Establish and maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with company and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
  • Responsible the collection of payments/equipment repossession efforts and training of staff on all necessary collection practices
  • Manage inventory for damage control, shrinkage and expiration dates
  • Maintain, refurbish and/or repair equipment to insure proper inventory levels

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 5years field experience, preferably in route/sales capacity
  • Knowledge and experience of the principles and practices of team supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively to create and maintain a positive team culture
  • Should have basic understanding of budget expenditures and P&L’s
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check per the company requirements, including a DOT physical and drug screen
  • Equipment installation skills (mechanical ability)
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 45lbs on a repetitive basis with up to 90lbs periodically
