SERVICE INSTALLATION MANAGER - CULLIGAN OF SYLMAR

80th Anniversary w-Lulu

Culligan is looking for an experienced Service Installation Manager to lead our team of Installation Technicians.  If you have experience leading a team of field technicians, we would love talk with you!   Culligan offers competitive wages, full benefits package and a fun work environment with room for advancement!

Responsibilities

Manage a team of service personnel that perform on-site equipment installation. Oversee scheduling and training of field installation representatives. Responsibilities will include handling service contracts and directing support services. 

 

  • Supervision of installation technician employees.
  • Maintain sufficient stock levels of products and equipment used for water treatment products and services.
  • Proper shipping and receiving of products both internally as well as to direct ship customers, if necessary.
  • Transfers of inventory from corporate warehouse to out-of-town warehouses.
  • P&L responsibility for service department (both revenue and expenses)
  • Create and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Schedule may include some weekend work, long days/early mornings
  • Ordering and inventory control for all parts, plumbing supplies and ancillary products needed to ensure the correct and full completion of any and all service department responsibilities.
  • Maintenance of the service vehicle fleet to minimize potential truck downtime.
  • Collection of monies due at the time that service is rendered. Promptly turn said monies or customer payments and daily activity sheets to the office staff at the completion of each work day. Supervise other service techs to do the same.
  • General housekeeping of any part of our facility that is impacted and used by service personnel and vehicles, including the upkeep and security of all tools, equipment or other company assets utilized by the service department technicians.

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of service installation and/or equipment repair (water treatment experience preferred)
  • Team management of Field Service or Installation Technicians preferred
  • Candidate should demonstrate excellence in Customer Service
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 80lbs on a repetitive basis (at times over 100 pounds).
  • Must be insurable through our underwriters to operate a company vehicle, therefore must be 21 years of age possessing an insurable driving record as per company requirements
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug screen

Similar service industries may include: windows, siding, solar panel, roofing, appliance, cable, carpet, HVAC, or any other service installation technician with expertise in a residential or commercial environment.
