Route Sales Representative - Culligan of Ravenna

As a Route Sales Representative (RSR), you will deliver bottled water and water treatment products and up sell services to a designated customer base within a geographic area.  RSRs will also build strong customer relationships with bottled water customers by providing exceptional service, develop sales and relationships to generate additional revenue from existing customers, and routinely resolve customer issues by identifying satisfactory solutions.  The ideal candidate must be comfortable with a physically demanding, customer-facing, sales-oriented position.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develops sales and marketing approaches for existing customers based on knowledge of the customer, preferences and style.
  • Offers new products and services at the time of established product delivery to result in add-ons to the account with additional product lines.
  • Identifies prospective customers through the assigned customer base to solicit new clients.
  • Occasionally resolves customer issues within established guidelines and partners with customers in identifying satisfactory solutions.
  • Builds strong customer relationships on an on-going basis with the objective of continuing and renewing business.
  • Drives a company truck (non-cdl) to deliver products to customers according to daily route schedule.
  • Accurately complete all required paper work on a daily basis.

  

 

Qualifications

  • Prior route sales experience a preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills required to be successful in this role
  • Must have excellent driving record
  • Must be able to lift / push / pull up to 90lbs on a repetitive basis
  • All drivers are required to be a minimum of 21 years of age or older for insurance purposes
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings required
