If you answered yes...then Culligan is looking for you! You will be thrilled with the business to business, Outside Sales opening. We are looking for an outgoing, upbeat team member who is driven to succeed as our Coffee, Bottled Water, and Point-of-Use (Bottle-Free) sales person. Culligan’s Outside Sales Representatives provide on-demand beverage solutions for local area businesses. Our Point-of-use systems deliver pure and fresh water to our customers offering a bottle-free option for premium quality water.  

 

No experience is necessary; all you need is motivation, persistence, and the ability to overcome objections. As an Outside Sales Representative what you bring home each year is up to you!  Outside Sales team members work Monday-Friday (no nights or weekends unless there is a special project or extinuating circumstance), and are guaranteed a base salary with uncapped earning potential, along with a company vehicle and gas card during work hours to get you from sales call to sales call.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for pro-actively generating appointments with new prospects, as well as setting appointments off of our current customer list to build on the services we provide for our customers.
  • Sales calls will vary from cold calling, to prospecting to formal sales presentations.
  • Canvassing is the primary lead generation method, followed by telephone cold-calling, referrals, use of strategic contacts and events. In a typical day 30+ contact attempts will be made in this highly transactional sales role.
  • Utilize probing questions and rapport building skills to evaluate the customer’s need and create trust and credibility with the customer.
  • Meet or exceed targets for sales quota, daily calls, contacts and other metrics as deemed by management, demonstrating a high sense of urgency for daily written sales results.

Qualifications

·         Self-motivator with strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate, present, and persuade at all management levels.

·         Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license and maintain an insurable driving record

·         Position will require you to lift/push/pull a minimum of 50 lbs repetitively throughout the day

·         For insurance purposes it is mandated that our drivers be a minimum of 21 yrs of age
