Are you an over-achieving, highly motivated, self-starting, dynamic, outgoing person looking for your dream job?  Then Culligan is looking for you!  You will be thrilled with the position we have to offer on our business to business, Outside Sales position for our Bottled Water/Coffee Team in our Wixom office. 

 

This is one of our fastest growing departments and we want an Outside Sales Representative that desires to grow personally, professionally and with our company.  Our Outside Sales team members work Monday-Friday, no nights or weekends, and are guaranteed a base salary with uncapped earning potential, along with a company vehicle and gas card during work hours to get you from sales call to sales call. Our Outside Sales team is also offered a full benefit package that includes health insurance and 401k with company match! 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for pro-actively generating appointments with new prospects, as well as setting appointments off of our current customer list to build on the services we provide for our current customers.
  • Sales calls will vary from cold calling, to prospecting to formal sales presentations.
  • Canvassing is the primary lead generation method, followed by telephone cold-calling, referrals, use of strategic contacts and events. In a typical day 30+ contact attempts will be made in this highly transactional sales role.
  • Utilize probing questions and rapport building skills to evaluate the customer’s need and create trust and credibility with the customer.
  • Meet or exceed targets for sales quota, daily calls, contacts and other metrics as deemed by management, demonstrating a high sense of urgency for daily written sales results.



Qualifications

 

  • 1+ year of sales experience or other applicable customer facing positions.
  • Self-motivator with strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate, present, and persuade at all management levels.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license and maintain an insurable driving record
  • Position will require you to lift/push/pull a minimum of 50 lbs repetitively throughout the day
  • For insurance purposes it is mandated that our drivers be a minimum of 21 yrs of age
