    This position will manage day to day delivery processes for our team of Route Delivery Drivers to provide timely and effective delivery of product to all residential and commercial customers. The Bottle Water Plant Supervisor is also responsible for managing all aspects of the day to day bottle water plant operations, delivery coordination, fleet management and sales activities.  

     

    The best candidates must exhibit good people management skills, be able to recognize, prioritize and accomplish daily, weekly, and monthly goals and to motivate sales staff.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute daily bottle water plant operations
    • Coordinates daily operational and supervisory needs of the route delivery team
    • Plans, distributes, monitors, and follows-up daily route assignments to ensure customers are serviced per company standards and agreements
    • Sets and monitors productivity and safety targets for each route driver
    • Monitors driver time and attendance and sales activity
    • Reviews weekly demand / volume for routes, determines potential gains from re-routing, and recommends re-routes when necessary
    • Establish and maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with company and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
    • Responsible for FDA, CDPH, IBWA monitoring and compliance

    Qualifications

    • Experience in transportation, logistics, route/plant operations preferred, in which coaching, routing assessments, and leading employees were requirements of the role.
    • Must possess outstanding communication and customer service skills
    • Self-motivated, high energy individual 
    • History of meeting and/or exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual goals
    • Minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience preferably in route management
    • Valid driver’s license is required 
    • Must be willing to become a member of the Food Safety Program once employed
    • The physical ability to handle the demands and rigors of the position including, but not limited to, bending, twisting, reaching overhead, crawling, working in tight spaces, lifting and/or pulling heavy objects (at times over 100lbs)
    • Ability to, at all times, to pass a drug screen/work physical exam and maintain a clean driving record as confirmed by a state motor vehicle report
